Scholar Phases... We at Moor House Academy feel that education should be developmentally appropriate for the student. This has nothing to do with IQ, but with brain development, physical, emotional and social maturity. We have divided our program into four developmental phases.

Here at Moor House Academy we have defined the different developmental phases of learning as follows: Family Scholar (0-8), Aspiring Scholar (8-12) Young Scholar (12-18), and Adult Scholar (18+).  Children and adults develop through the phases at differing rates, so ages listed are approximate.
