Program information and information about the Princess Primer:

In January I created The Princess Academy for mothers and their daughters. We are all daughters of a Heavenly King, hence the Princess Academy. An Organization for girls (7-16) and their mothers. We promote:
"Beautiful Girlhood
Equipping, through
Love and learning,
Ladies of
Eloquence, Generosity, Comeliness, Grace, and
Sisterhood™"

Activities~

Liber TeaLuncheons and Discussions. Books are read between mothers and daughters.
Women of VirtueInspiring vignettes about noble women throughout history.
Heart Warming BeesHands to Serve, Hearts to God, philanthropic activities. Quilting and Working Bees--Service days for making items for humanitarian service donations.
GraceA Program of Refinement Culture, Handwork, and Hospitality.
Frugal Luxuries Sharing-- Bring your frugal luxuries or a picture of something you worked on and share your ideas.
Adding value-- Garage and estate sale treasure hunting, then paint up, fix up, and mend. When you buy something new, it begins to lose value as soon as it walks out the door. It acquires dents, scratches, and spills. When you buy something used and fix it up, you add value, develop skills, and if the piece ever gets damaged, you know how to fix it up.
Hope Chest Journey ™ This is the journey that mothers and daughters take together, while at home.
Evening of Eloquence A Celebration of the Princess within.

A Princess Primer for Mothers

Many have asked about the Graceprogram. I am creating a manual and it will be available soon, called: A Princess Primer for Mothers. It will have the Grace program in it, as well as the following sections:
1. Femininity Readings
2. Love: A Fruit of the Spirit --The Care and Feeding of the Soul
3. Learning: Cultural Literacy--Breadth and Depth
4. Eloquence: Speech and Presentation, with Dignity and Grace
5. Generosity: Service & Philanthropy
6. Comeliness: The Princess Principles
7.
Grace: Etiquette, Hospitality, Handwork, Domestic Arts
8. Sisterhood: Friendship & Diplomacy

Each section has a section discussing the importance and direction of that section. Where possible, there will be quotes, links, and an annotated bibliography of suggested readings. The biggest sections will be Learning: Cultural Literacy and Grace™: Etiquette, Hospitality, Handwork, and Domestic Arts.

When the book is completed it will be available in spiral bound form. This site will remain for updates, until I can create a real website. Moor House Academy will have a section dedicated to these files and new ones as they come available. That new section will not be open until the Princess Primer is done. This summer I will begin work on a website, and then, when complete, everything will be moved there.
